We forgot to tell you all about our two great field trips we took in the past two weeks. On Thursday, October 30th we visited Millers Farm. We enjoyed hearing some great pumpkin and Halloween stories read by Mrs Miller. She gave us a delicious, red apple to eat as a snack while we listened to the stories. Next, we went on a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch. It was a muddy, bumpy ride! We saw so many pumpkins in all different shapes, sizes and colours. When we got into the middle of the patch, we got off the wagon and went out to pick our very own pumpkin. Then we headed back to the farm and got to play in the stacks of hey. It was a great trip and we had so much fun.. Here are a few pictures from our trip :
This past week we also visited the Greenboro Library. We had a great day to walk down to the library. We learned all about the different things you can borrow from the library like books, videos, movies, music cds and even video games. We also learned all about how to take care of the things that we borrow from the library. If we want to borrow books from the library we need a library card. Visit the Greenboro Library and they would be happy to make you a library card. Thanks to all the parents who volunteered to help us on both the trips.
